Another aspect not mentioned in this piece is the idea that there are many different paths in life — that can all lead to similar (or the exact same) destination. Think about hiking trails in a park. Several may weave about in different directions, but all end up in the same location in the end.

I’m deff. one of those people who are terrified of their lack of control in life, but it also sets the stage for exhilarating possibilities, and those possibilities are hard to argue with.

This piece was written on the day that I decided to leave my most recent job in politics and fully pursue my writing ambitions and bigger personal and career goals. While it was written by me and for me, I think it is pertinent to how a lot of people feel when wandering aimlessly down the proverbial path of life.
